| The third Sino-US Pharmaceutical Workshop is hold in “Beijing Medicine Valley” |

Recently, the third Sino-US Pharmaceutical Workshop was held at Boda Mansion in Beijing Economic and Technology Development Area, which was jointly sponsored by Alliance of BIO-BOX Outsourcing, CHINA (ABO), National Institute for the Control of Pharmaceutical and Biological Products, and Sino-American Pharmaceutical Professionals Association.
This workshop is taking for Toxicity Pathology in New Drug Development as the theme, inviting four experts from America Society of Toxicological Pathology, Johnson & Johnson (China), EPL Company, and Novartis Pharmacy Company, who are respectively exchanging and discussing with Chinese counterparts on the basic principle of toxicological pathology research, pathological outsourcing and general operation, system pathology in new drug development, and histomorphology. Fifty-five persons from 27 Chinese organizations attended this workshop.
Animal toxicological pathology is the important content in the preclinical trial of new drug, the bottleneck of drug R&D service industry, also the important service connotation of Alliance of BIO-BOX Outsourcing, CHINA.
National Evaluation and Testing Center on Pharmaceutical Safety, National Beijing Center of Drug Safety Evaluation Research, and Beijing Joinn Pharmaceutical Center, these three institutions among 22 members in Alliance of BIO-BOX Outsourcing, are specializing in trial service of animal toxicological pathology. Strengthening the working ability of the technical talents in the produce line is the key of improving the national animal toxicological pathology service. Since 2006, ABO Alliance successively cooperated with some international institutions, such as British Huntingdon Company, British Society of Toxicological Pathology, and Sino-American Pharmaceutical Professionals Association, to organize trainings for three times on the bottlenecks in the drug safety evaluation, such as toxicity pathology, GLP regulations and experimental animals management, and 348 persons attended these trainings.
Talents’ training is the common demand in ABO developing R&D outsourcing service. ABO actively carried out talents training of various forms, inviting veteran expertsin the produce line to provide the training, combining with the member of the Alliance, such as Beijing Normal University, to set up the training base for the graduates, carrying out authentication training in view of the standard systems, such as AAALAC，ISO17025、GLP, and actively carrying out the cooperative projects, to realize the mutual improvement in the practice of outsourcing projects.
