| International cooperation and exchange drive development of science and technology coordinator team in Mentougou District |

From March 8 to March 10, Mentougou Regional Science and Technology Commission invited Mr. kobayasi, a famous Japanese cherry expert, through Beijing Association for Science and Technology Exchanges with Foreign Countries, conducted three-day academic communication. This academic communication was welcomed by over 200 science and technology coordinators and fruit growers in Miaofeng Mountain, Yongding, and Wangping, three towns, and Exploitation and Examination Base of Beijing Mentougou Section.
Mr. Kobayasi was inspired owing to high status or prestige in Janpan, had great accomplishment on research of cherry. Combining the present situation of cherry in Mentougou, he systematically introduced the production situation of cherry by use of the indoor and outdoor forms, and explained the cherry tree pruning in Spring, and disease and pest control, etc, in the simple way, together with his rich practical experiences, technical application, and common touch, which made the science and technology coordinator and fruit growers greatly inspired and benefited a great deal.
Through the explanation of many forms by Japanese expert, the management technique level of cherry cultivation of science and technology coordinators and fruit growers from key cherry cultivation areas, such as Miaofeng Mountain, Yongding, and Wangping, three towns, had been improved, which had important significance in assuring fruitfull and steady production in successive years, and at the same time, had practical significance in improving the quality of science and technology coordinators and the management level of cherry cultivation of all region.
