| The research and development on the fuel cell city bus entire car technique progresses successfully |
| | “The research and development on the fuel cell city bus entire car technique” progresses successfully, which is the national fifteenth “863” electric power bus special project and charged by Stinghua University who organize Dongfeng electric power vehicle company, Beijing public transportation head office, Beijing north NEOPLAN carriage company, Beijing carriage general factory, Beijing polytechnic university. Since the startup from the end 2001, these are 130 persons attended which included 43 persons owned high professional rank, doctors 22, and the total funds is 216.69 million yuan. At present, the goal of the first year have achieved in time, and made out the prototype of the first fuel cell city bus in China. At the aspects of the key technique, according to the rule of the entire car, the key problems were tackled such as the entire car power-driven system overall design, the evaluation and improvement of the key components, the alteration of the chassis motorization, the electromagnetic compatibility of the entire car, the hydrogen-electricity security technique, multi-energy distributional control system; at the basic platform aspect, the system development platform of the fuel cell dynamic system, the motor mixture dynamic system, motor-car electrically driven and fuel cell city carriage digital entire car control system is established, and the entire car network and information system based on the CAN bus is developed; at the standard and proprietary technology aspect, six technical specifications and standards are constituted and applied seven national technical patent. This project “the research and development on the fuel cell city bus entire car technique” also do some efficient work on the base establishment, troops formation, person cultivation, international cooperation and mechanism creation etc. The project group signed the agreement in principle and concrete chapters of founding the “Beijing Stinghua new energy bus engineering center” in Beijing. In July 2002, authorized by the Beijing municipal commission of science, “Beijing Stinghua new energy bus engineering center” is founded in due form. The Beijing deputy mayor Fan Boyuan took up the director post of the “center” which also include these units such as Pejing university, Beijng carriage general factory, Beijing north NEOPLAN carriage limited corporation and Beijing polytechnic university. In order to exert the enterprise function and strengthen the technical entire car integration and drive the related industry development, Stinghua university founded “ Stinghua University city carriage research base” which is relied on Beijing carriage general factory technology center and trial-manufacture factory. It promotes the integration construction of the research and trial- manufacture. December 25th 2002, the project “the research and development on the fuel cell city bus entire car technique” successfully passed the acceptance as the first by the Science and Technology Department 863 energy technique office and 863 electric power car general experts group. At present the project group have finished the second stage preparation, and passed the plan examination and replication of 863 electric power car general experts group at Jan 28th 2003, and the capital plan have been fulfilled. At the second stage, it will make progress on the key techniques and the platform, finish the examination of the prototype car, and make out two practical prototype car and pass the test, and finish the design of the conceptual car, and try to realize the demonstrate management of the fuel cell city carriage before the end 2004.
