| The Second Session of Aigo Beijing Invention & Innovation Competition Put on Stage |
| | In order to build sound social atmosphere of advocating invention & innovation and establishing harmonious society, and support the mass activities of invention & innovation, Beijing Association of Inventions holds the second session of Beijing Invention & Innovation Competition lasting from March 27 to September 27. The first session of the Competition was held in 2006.
Beijing Huaqi Information Digital Technology Co., Ltd. is the title sponsor of this competition, which is named after Aigo Beijing Invention & Innovation Competition.
The theme of the competition is “Invention Creates Further”. The method of sign up for the competition is combined with online issuance and locale registration, which is characterized by socialization and mass participation. In order to show the characters of knowledge-oriented, interaction and interesting of the competition, various promotion measures are adopted based on close interaction relationship with the medium including TV, broadcast, newspaper, magazine, internet and etc. Measures such as report on a special topic, television interview, press conference, live broadcasting, awarding ceremony build the atmosphere of the entire society paying attention to invention & innovation. Such measures as title sponsor, donation for public benefit, public online vote, enterprise subscription, match for creator and venture capital are adopted to mobilize the participation and attention of the entire society and further enhance the impact of the competition.
Under the kind support and guidance of Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, Aigo Beijing Invention & Innovation Competition held by Beijing Association of Inventions is a mass science activity open to the entire city. Invention enthusiast in Beijing can participate in the competition voluntarily. Four types of awards are established in the competition. There will be 60 winners of invention & innovation award, including 10 winners of golden award (one winner of special award), 20 winners of silver award and 30 winners of copper award.
Compared to the first session of the competition, awards of this session have great improvement in both number and strength. Besides the awards and prize established by Beijing Association of Inventions, other relevant units also establish several special awards, such as special award of China Association of Invention funded by China Association of Invention, unique idea award of Beijing Science & Technology News funded by Beijing Invention & Technology News, etc.
Several enterprises have sponsored this session of competition currently. Beijing Huaqi Information Digital Technology Co., Ltd. provide title sponsor for the competition, which is named after Aigo Beijing Invention & Innovation Competition. All the units and individuals interested in invention and public welfare are welcomed to pay attention to and support the competition.
The examination and appraise work will be notarized by notary institution to ensure equal and fair environment of the competition.
